Awards: Won Golden Globe. Another 14 wins & 35 nominations.

Description: One of my favorite books is Roots, this book is little conventional for the people in Ecuador. Many people in Ecuador don`t know the book and movie of ROOTS.

Roots tells the history`s salavery suffered by the black people in North America for many years. Also tells several customs and traditions that blacks remained in their tribes. Slavery was such that people of color was sold in American markets how animals or products, caring for their land, houses and a number of activities without denigrantes.

The book narrates the economic situation partner that the USA lived in those times. Many of the scenes are carried out in plantations of cotton of those times. With the step of time, black people were understanding the importance of being free, the opportunities that were losing. One of the main characters Kunta Kinte is the one that begins many situations in favor of the freedom. Kunta is combatant, dreamer and a revolutionary of its tribe. Kunta is example so that its descendants contemplate the freedom that the one could not see but if to begin. After several agreements among American governments some in favor of the black ones others in favor of the owners of the country properties, the one is achieved desired FREEDOM. The book is grandiose, it tints such a perfect description that in certain occasions the reader feels that this inside the history. The desire to see in images that read is grandiose, however the movie is not as interesting as the book. I think that the movie is a small sample of the stateliness of the book.
My punctuation to the movie is 1 for the book 100.

I consider that any person that not this in favor of any type of slavery or inequality should read this spectacular book.

Alice in Wonderland Country

Alice in Wonderland Country

Alice in Wonderland country, is a work of literature created by the mathematician, British Anglican priest and writer Charles Lutwidge Dodgson, better known under the pseudonym Lewis Carroll.

The country of the wonders that are described in the story is essentially created through games with the logic of a very special way, the work has come to be popular in many different environments, from math to children or psiconautas.

In this book some of the most famous of Carroll, as the White Rabbit, the Sombrerero, the Cheshire Cat and Queen of Hearts, who have become important enough to be recognized outside the world of Alice.

Only 23 copies are kept of the first edition of 1865, of which 17 belong to different libraries, with the remaining in private hands.

With respect to the film

Two versions exist, one that is of cartoons and another with real people.
The movie that is with cartoons lasts very little and it serves more it stops children from 2 to 10 years, this movie is very amusing and lively.
The movie that is with real characters hard a lot but, this it is good for all class they are already for children like for adults because it is much more amusing and has many special effects that until they seem that it is true.

With respect to the book

In my opinion it is boring because it is very long of reading, however, it has similarities with that they make in the movie.

EL PERFUME

Perfume is one of the most fantastic stories, I had the opportunity to read that book recommended by a professor at the university and also went to see her in the cinema ... was a unique experience because I realize that something is to see emosion instant while reading one can interpret and imagine what you want.

Film images are shocking and a very long book, though the book is simply that the parties do not have a movie that does not mesh consecutive.

I prefer the book because this book people can engage in the most intriguing scenes is suspended since the passing of each page and have that curiosity will be surprises and protegonista the end of the day you book more interesanteleerlo day, this book when a person begins to read it is impossible not to read it is amazing .. its libretto is often words are used more often and makes interesting reading and one that gives the plot of which is the message that the author is trying to say ... leads us to watch everything that happens in the book.

The movie is good for nearly three hours, their personjes are shocking and disappointing, but I read that book.

My Favorite Book

One of the best books I have read is called The Secret is a book that opened my mind to think that everything we want in life is to give everything that you want the first thing we have to do is ask, is the second and third is to have faith Resivir.
It is very interesasnte as we said that we are creators of our own destiny.

Tells the story of a man who had an accident and became unable to move, only the power of his mind was a goal which was to leave the hospital in December and spend Christmas with his family, only to come out and have faith was with them.

There are many people who do not believe in those things when a guy wanted to try something small every day thinking about a multi-colored pen Where a day and not expect to find that the boom in the street which is equal to the number of days imaguino .

We ask what you want and the universe gives us no matter how it has reached is that there was

THE DA VINCI CODE

The Da Vinci Code is a thriller with great commercial success, written by Dan Brown and first published by Random House in 2003. It has become a worldwide bestseller, with more than 80 million copies sold and translated into 44 languages.

I will speak you about "The Da Vinci Code” It is an interesting history. In this case exists a book and also the movie and if we make a comparison I could tell you that the book is the best because in the book the things are explained with more details which make that the history is easier of understanding for example in the book is described in a better way to the characters and the characteristics of their personalities and if after reading the book you decide to watch the movie, this will be very clear for you. As much the book as the movie have been a success, for this reason this is an great option that you cannot allow to happen, sure it will like you.
WHAT DREAMS MAY COME

Chris and Annie Nielsen's children are both killed, and then a few years later Chris himself dies in an accident. Chris goes to heaven, a place built of his imagination, and the paintings he loved in life. He discovers from an angel that Annie has committed suicide, as she is bereft without her family. Chris determines to search for her, but as he has gone to heaven and she to hell, he must endure great hardships to find her.

I like the theme of the story because I can believe in true love that is able to pass over the limits and difficulty.

I would have liked to read the book, however I have not found yet. I think the film is described as a heaven eternal paradise probably to blame for this lies with the director, Vincent Ward, who does not know take the wonderful scenery that others have created. On the other hand, we have faced in a world of paradise and hell, full of contradictions, where it is assumed that, as telling the player, everyone can choose what to do it (come on, to me it sounds a bit strange So to punish suicide and crazy). Because the script by Ron Bass is pretentious, and it seems to aspire to be something more than it actually is, with phrases rimbombantes resources and the like. But this time it must be chosen to thank you for the happy ending, because something was needed after seeing so much tragedy.

THE LORD OF THE RINGS

By: Jubi Castro

THE LORD OF THE RINGS HAS TWO FORMATS: THE BOOK END A MOVIE.
The book of the Lord of the Rings is an epic high fantasy novel written by philologist J.R.R Tolkien. The story began as a sequel to Tolkien's earlier, less complex children's fantasy novel The Hobbit (1937), but eventually developed into a much larger work.
  • It was written in stages between 1937 and 1949, much of it during World War IIAlthough intended as a single-volume work, it was originally published in three volumes in 1954 and 1955, due to post-war paper shortages, and it is in this three-volume form that it is popularly known.
  • It has since been reprinted numerous times and translated into many different languages, becoming one of the most popular and influential works in 20th-century literature.
The movie of the Lord of the Rings is a fantastic story that it impact to all the world with images, also The Lord of the Rings film trilogy consists of three live action fantasy epic films:
  • The Fellowship of the Ring in the year 2000), The Two Towersin in the year 2002)and The Return of the King in the year 2003 (often abbreviated to LotR for the trilogy, and FotR, TTT, and RotK for the individual films).
  • The trilogy is based on the three-volume book The Lord of the Rings by J. R. R. Tolkien.
  • While they follow the book's general storyline, the films also feature some additions to and deviations from the source material.
Set in the fictional world of Middle-earth, the three films follow the young hobbit Frodo Baggins as he and a Fellowship embark on a quest to destroy the One Ring, and thus ensure the destruction of its maker, the Dark Lord Sauron.
  • The Fellowship becomes divided and Frodo continues the quest together with his loyal companion Sam and the treacherous Gollum. Meanwhile, the wizard Gandalf and Aragorn, heir in exile to the throne of Gondor, unite and rally the Free Peoples of Middle-earth, who are ultimately victorious in the War of the Ring.
The films were directed by Peter Jackson and distributed by New Line Cinema.
  • With an overall budget of $280 million, the entire project took eight years, with the filming for all three films done simultaneously and entirely in Jackson's native New Zealand. Each film in the trilogy also had Special Extended Editions, released on DVD a year after the theatrical releases.
What is the Synopsis of the literary works?
The story of the The Lord of the Rings was written as a novel, but was originally published in three volumes, entitled The Fellowship of the Ring, The Two Towers, and The Return of the King.

What are the difference between the book and movie?
Arwen (Liv Tyler in the movie) is a very minor character in the book. She's still Aragorn's lover but she barely appears. The film-makers cleverly took a lot of stuff that other characters did, and gave it to Arwen to do.
There's a long section from early on in the book, where the hobbits get sidetracked in a small-scale enchanted forest and are sheltered by a mysterious sort of forest spirit named Tom Bombadil, a bit of a proto-hippy.
None of it advances the story in any way, although it's fun to read, so it was cut out of the screenplay.
In the book, Faramir recognises almost immediately that the Ring is dangerous and not to be used as a weapon, and he helps Frodo and Sam much more readily.
In the film, his need to impress his father overrides his basic good sense and he takes Frodo and Sam on a pointless trip to Osgiliath (which doesn't happen in the book) before he realises that Gondor can't use the Ring, and that Frodo has to be helped.
This makes Faramir's story more dramatic, which again I think was a sensible move.
In the book, Faramir's story comes as a relief from the depressing and bleak stuff before and afterwards, but in the film they realised that they needed to give him more of a story, probably in order to make him into a more interesting partner for Eowyn.
Finally, in the book, Saruman does not die at Isengard but is allowed to go free by Treebeard. Much later, when the hobbits finally arrive back in the Shire, they find that Saruman, who now only has the power of his voice, has turned it into a sort of petty dictatorship and has a bunch of shady men running the place, along with some of the weaker hobbits. Merry, Pippin and others raise an army of hobbits to liberate the Shire. Frodo eventually confronts Saruman and pays him the ultimate insult of not killing him but letting him go. Saruman is bitter and tells Frodo that he, Frodo, will neither live long nor be happy. Then, just like in the film, he insults his grovelling sidekick Grima, who then kills Saruman, and is himself killed in turn by the onlooking hobbits. The Shire is cleaned up and restored to its former beauty. In other ways, it's very similar. They did an amazing job of keeping so much of it in. I did miss the small civil war in the Shire at the end, but it probably would have made the last film about half an hour longer and given it even more endings than it already had.BTW, Frodo got exactly that much beaten up in the book. They were extremely faithful to Frodo's suffering. If anything, he suffers a bit less in the films.

"Romeo and Julieta"

The movie:
Romeo and Juliet is a beautiful film because the story is surprisingly.
Wonderful movie, due to the effects only arouses emotions of romantic and suspense. The pictures tell a thousand words.

The book:
Its text is simple, clear but put him emotion drawings. Not as good as the film

HARRY POTTER

HARRY POTTER THE FILMS

The Harry Potter's film is a amazing production for all the especial effects that it has, when I watched this film was fabulous the scenography that was used.

The main actors, Rupert Grint, Emma Watson and Daniel Radcliffe did a great job with their interpretations, during all the film I felt the magic in the environment.

I watched four parts of Harry Potter's film an I think that the first film was the most fantastic of all films, maybe was because was the first time that I watch places so beautiful in a television, good after of the film " Lord of the Rings" that were playing in the same time.

Nowadays I am waiting for the last film "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows", I don't know anything about it.

I think, is surprising everything that now we can do with the technology but the author's book describes a lot of the fantasy of the Harry's adventure.

HARRY POTTER THE BOOKS

The Harry Potter's books are the best collection because these books are the most incredible as the movies, only reading them we transported to the magical places where Harry is living marvelous adventures.

J.K. Rowling the author of this wonderful book has so much imagination to describe with words to people, animals and places of other world and keep the reader's curiosity who continuous reading to until the end.

I think that the books are better than the movies because here we can to find more details and is interesting that our own imagination create magical things.

THE DA VINCI CODE

This is the most interesting history of suspended, that I saw. This related the history of the religion in the world. It has became a bestseller. In this history a theologian , Robert Langdon, find the true of the Sant Grial , the true about the religion, the Jesus, the true that the world don´t know.
This history find to make know the lie most important of the world, that the Christianity is based in a lie , that Jesus was married with MarĂa Magdalena , that he was a men ordinary, and he had 1 child. Moreover that the child went to France with his mother.
This history is substantiating in many things: for example:
  • Images of the last Supper.
  • Gospels never publicated.
  • Documents of the religion
In the movie exist two dilemmas that originated of the die of Sauniere, a museum curator, find who killed him? And why?. The solution of these dilemmas requires the previously solution of the anagrams and riddles, of the Priory of Sion, Opus Dei, Hnights Templar, and other secrets.
Then in this movie the theologian found the true of the secrets more relevant of the Christian history, he found to a living descendant of Jesus, and he found the Sant Grial. The true that the world don`t want to believe.

Similarities and differences of the book and the movie:

Similarities:

1. Exist the same actors in the book that the movie.
2. The secrets are revelated in this same moments, with the same actors and places.

Differences:

1. The book related moments that the movie doesn’t present , for example characterizes of the car by Robert Landong.
2. The movie happens in minus time that the book related , the movie happens in hours, the book in 1 day.

However, I think the story is the best , I like it because is interesting and you need think and concentrate for resolve the dilemma. You need believe in your religion and its history.
